The ARMBURY WESEN is an eye-to-eye prusik sling designed for arborist friction-hitch systems. Its 50% aramid and 50% polyester blend provides heat and mechanical resistance for demanding tree-work applications. Choose from 8 mm or 10 mm diameters and four lengths to suit your compatible rope and hitch setup.
Designed for arborist friction hitches
When preparing your climbing system, the WESEN offers an eye-to-eye format for tying a self-locking friction hitch. The aramid–polyester blend combines resistance to heat and mechanical wear, while the range of diameters and lengths lets you select the dimensions specified for your system. It is a practical choice for arborists who want clearly defined size and strength options.
Key features
- Eye-to-eye design: Intended for arborist self-locking friction hitches.
- 50% aramid / 50% polyester: A material blend selected for heat and mechanical resistance.

Certification & Safety
This Prusik Sling is certified by CE, EN 566 and EN 795 B. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for use, inspection and maintenance. Confirm compatibility between the sling, host rope, hitch configuration and other system components before use. Heat resistance does not mean heat-proof; inspect for wear or heat damage. Breaking-strength ratings are not working-load limits.
